Technical configuration

Here you will find the different configuration settings - different tabs address different aspects of the app.

Templates

In this section you can manage your templates.

The table gives you information on the module, in which a given template is visible, the name and description, the template file and visibility settings.

Managing existing templates

The list of templates is displayed in a table. The column width can be adjusted, as needed, to display the information.

Column nameDescription
ModuleIn this column you can see the name of a module a given template is associated with.
Name

Displays the template name.

The icon next to a template name indicates a given template has been created as a part of out-of the-box configuration.

Pre-installed templates can be:

  • modified in the 'Edit' mode
  • deleted
  • restored
DescriptionThis field contains description of a given template.
File

This field contains the the template file - click on the file name to download it.

Global

The 'Global' checkbox indicates visibility of a template.

Actions

There are two action buttons:

  • Edit - clicking the button allows you to edit each column field of a given template:
    • In the first column, use the drop-down to select a module.
    • Change the template name.
    • Change the template description.
    • Use the 'Browse' button to associate a different file with this template
    • Adjust the visibility of a template using the 'Global' checkbox. When you mark the template as 'Global' and e.g. set its context as 'Gantt', it means that the template is displayed in Gantt module in every Program. You can adjust its visibility on a Program level.

Hit 'Save' to apply changes or click 'Cancel', if you do not want to overrite the existing setup.

  • Delete - deleting a template is irreversible (only the pre-installed templates can be restored)

To remove an existing template use the 'Delete' button on far right. The change is irreversible.

Uploading templates

  1. Press 'Upload new template' button
  2. Fill following fields: template type (technically: context), name and description, choose file (available file formats: *.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.odt, *.mpp, *.mpx) and define if a template should be a default one within its context
  3. Press 'Upload new template' to add new template

Restoring pre-installed templates

Pre-installed templates are marked with a following icon next to their name, even if you have edited them.

You can always restore the pre-installed templates. Existing templates won't be affected - this action creates another set of templates (the pre-installed templates, that have been modified or deleted will be added again).

Technical Info

This section allows you to perform basic troubleshooting actions or (whenever required) extract information which you can later send to the Support Team.

If you've encountered any issues with the App and the problem persists after updating to the latest version, please contact our Support Team via our ServiceDesk providing as many details describing the error as possible.

Please remember, that the more details we have on the issue, the higher the chance that we will be able to help you resolving it in the first reply. We are always more than happy to receive screenshots showing the problem, preferably with highlighted areas where the problem occurs.

Along with the above, we need you to send us information on the version of Jira you are currently using, the version of our application (if you are not using the latest release) as well as the fine-grained logs.
