Data migration to the NEW Board module
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Updating BigPicture to version 7.11 and above will migrate your Board data to the new Board module.
All your data from the legacy Board module will be automatically migrated to the new Board, so that you can continue your work with a minmal loss of data.
Data to be migrated
The following data will be migrated:
- Iterations and their periods
- Iteration scope sync settings (both for Small team and Large team sync modes)
- Scope of iterations
- Team assignment (Team assigned will not change as it is stored as a separate field)
- Task period sync settings ("Task period alignment" mode for "Iteration" time boxes only)
Migration rules
Due to changes introduced with Board New some of the settings were renamed but the ideas behind them remained the same. See the table below for more details:

Iteration scope sync: if on a Jira instance, a Jira sprint was synced with multiple Iterations within all existing Programs, the app will migrate scope sync settings only for the synced Iterations ("no sync" mode will be set for all remaining Iterations).
Cadence planning settings will not be migrated (in new Board module, team and individual capacities are calculated automatically based on resource Workload and Holiday Plans).
