JIRA Dashboards

To add a BigPicture gadget to a Dashboard, go to your JIRA Dashboard and click the Add Gadget button. Locate the BigPicture gadget on the list.

Gantt, Risk and Program List are currently available. Once inserted, you will need to select the desired Program and automatic refresh intervals for Gantt and Risks. Gantt also has a few additional options regarding the view settings.

The gadgets can be moved around, deleted and maximized like any other JIRA gadget, by using drag and drop and clicking on the small arrow icon in their upper-right corners.

Confluence pages

First, you need to go to your Confluence administration, and scroll down - on the left-hand side, there will be a link called Application Links. Then go to any page, hit edit and select Add->Other Macros. You will see the BigPicture gadgets there, add them. You will be most likely prompted to give the gadget ID. In order to obtain it, log in to your JIRA and add our gadget to the standard JIRA dashboard, you will find the ID right there (in JIRA dashboard).

Once added, you will be able to group and sort by values in this column. Such fields will always be green (non-JIRA). Below an example with fields from a 3rd-party plugin:
