Adding new and exiting risks

The requirement for your issues to appear on the risk matrix is to set the values of the fields used by the matrix. To change the configuration and dimensions of the matrix go to Global configuration - Risk configuration.

The default field configuration uses the following fields:

  • Risk probability
  • Risk consequence

Add new issues to be displayed on the matrix.

Any Jira issue can be presented on the matrix but we do recommend creating a separate issue type to represent the identified risks.

Create new

Create a new Jira issue and added to the matrix using an issue creation dialog.

Add existing issue

Add an existing issue i.e. issue which already fits within the scope of the program. Open the edit dialog and select the the Risk probability and Risk consequence field values.
